Thanks much for the piece of mind.... I thought I might have been taken out a bit by the dealer, but one of the things they didn't list on the options page was the ARP bolts on our '05 6.0L [Ford Super Duty] CC 4x4. You Folks could've tried me on for size as the only experience I have is with my Father-In-Law's Mack, his E350 and a F450 Tow Truck which I 'lived in' for about 6 months.
I do understand the basic theory behind Diesels but as far as practicality goes (esp. on the 6.0) I haven't the faintest other than the typical horror stories. Your Technician explained and expanded upon what little I had been able to glean off the 'Net in a forthright and honest fashion and we were able between us to work out a plan of action.
Again thanks for your very courteous and knowledgeable service and I've already ordered a block heater and upper wiring loom install just for now. I WILL be ordering more.
